Hello Cello!

A huge thank you to Emmett and his Mum, Katy for the very enjoyable Cello experience.  All the children were fully engaged in listening and learning all about the Cello.  Most children had a turn of playing the Cello and some chose to play fast, slow, loud and quietly.  We especially enjoyed listening to Emmett and his Mum play a song together 🙂

Next week is our final week before the holidays, please remember that Graduation will take place on Thursday.  Nursery 3 children are invited along too.  Please be at the nursery for 1.45pm to drop off the children and head through to the school hall.

Thank you 🙂

A week of caterpillar fun and outdoor learning…

The children have really enjoyed watching the caterpillars grow this week!  We will continue to watch and learn throughout next week 🙂

Loads of outdoor learning this week finishing off with a team exercise getting the hoop from one side of the line to the other.

Important information

For our Summer trip we are heading to Nairn beach on the 13th of June for the whole morning and afternoon 🙂 Fun on the beach, park and some ice cream before making our way home.

We require lots of parent helpers (unfortunately cannot accommodate for siblings)

We have booked a bus and will be booking a train.  Some will arrive on one form of transport and return on the other as we all know how much the children love buses and trains!

Please could all parent helpers provide £5 for their train ticket, the children will travel free.

It will be great fun! Please let a member of staff know if you can make it 🙂

Who wants Ice cream?? :) …

The children have had a busy week with primary 1 visits, a visit from St Johns nursery, a small group went to visit the Kingsmills nursing home and playing out in the playground with their buddies.

During session we have had a taste test with some lovely flavours of ice cream from the Gelato shop, the children had fun guessing the different flavours.

Our Caterpillars have arrived!  The children have been very interested in their daily development so next week we will be learning more about Caterpillars 🙂
